Statement by Sam Bankman-Fried
Announcing his resignation from his position as CEO of bankrupt FTX, SBF said:
“I am very sorry that we have come to this point.
I hope a way can be found for things to improve. I hope this can bring them transparency and trust. Finally, I hope things can get better for customers.
This should not mean the end of companies’ ability to fund their customers. As a result, Mr. I am optimistic that Ray and others will help provide the best.
As soon as possible, I will try to provide an explanation of where we are in recovering users’ funds.
I’m trying to put all the details together. I was shocked that things were unfolding as they were earlier this week. I will write more on the subject soon. I want to make sure I understand everything completely.”
1) Hi all:
Today, I filed FTX, FTX US, and Alameda for voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings in the US.
