After last week’s hefty sales, the community is now interested in XRP, SHIB, and a few other altcoins.
SHIB, XRP and ADA face high interest
Analytical firm Santiment reports that social media has started showing interest in SHIB, XRP and ETH. The source of interest is based on the recently completed Ethereum merge upgrade. The community is now talking more about ETH, SHIB and XRP than before. According to the tweet, there was mention of certain cryptos being discussed on social media platforms after a significant drop in crypto prices last week. These tokens are among the top ten ETH, ADA, and XRP, with SHIB and Polygon’s MATIC joining them.
The community is talking more about these altcoins as their rise dates approach.
According to the Santiment team, the majority of other cryptocurrencies are much less discussed. SHIB broke its own quarterly record earlier this year in social media mentions in late August. Cardano is on track to complete the Vasil hard fork. Ethereum has completed the long-awaited merge upgrade from mining to PoS. After the Merge, Bitcoin fell 16% last week, while Ethereum fell 25%.

David Gokhshtein says he will buy more XRP
Meanwhile, a Twitter phenomenon says he will buy more XRP. Former US congressional candidate and Gokhshtein Media founder David Gokhshtein took to Twitter to announce that he is considering buying more XRP.

Over the past few years, crypto enthusiasts have been quite supportive of XRP, claiming that those who criticize the cryptocurrency currently tied to Ripple will likely use it in the future.
