Prosecutors are making efforts to ensure that the SBF has internet access only to certain sites. Along with a proposed regulation, it limited the internet to the use of a web tools and also monitoring software.

federal prosecutors, FTXformer CEO Sam Bankman-FriedSBF awaits trial on a series of charges related to the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange, as it seeks to severely limit its internet connection and technological access to another phone that isn’t a flip or smart phone.
Prosecutors asked the court to restrict them in a March 3 letter, after it was revealed that Bankman-Fried used encrypted messaging apps and a virtual private network (VPN) while on bail.
According to the letter, the two sides recommend limiting Bankman-Fried to a selected list of online tools related to his defense alongside whitelisted websites. These tools include Zoom, government websites, and several Blockchain data explorers. Thus, SBF’s internet access will be possible only in a permitted way.
