Spain’s Leading Airline to Start Accepting Cryptocurrency

Vueling, one of Spain’s leading airlines, will accept 13 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.

According to a report by PRNewswire, Spain’s leading airline Vueling has become the last major company to adopt cryptocurrencies. The company, which will accept cryptocurrencies in ticket payments, has partnered with BitPay in this context. The service will start on the company’s website as of 2023.

Airline customers will be able to make payments in 13 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum, Litecoin, Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC). Jesús Monzó, one of the Vueling executives, made the following statements on the subject:
