The Terra community does not support Do Kwon’s plan to fork the network. The community wants a burn instead.
According to a poll on the network’s forum, the Terra community is opposed to the idea of forking the network. More than 1,000 people surveyed refused to fork, as large as 90%.
Although the poll is not an official vote that requires LUNA ownership, it is important because it reflects the opinion of the community. The survey also aligns with the Terra community’s views on social media. Similarly, Binance CEO CZ recently said that the fork plan will not work.
As it is known, UST, which is the third largest stablecoin, has been deteriorated recently and there has been a huge supply increase in LUNA due to the relationship between LUNA and UST. Both LUNA and UST traded close to zero due to the increase in supply and incoming panic sales. After the crash, Terraform CEO Do Kwon shared a plan to fork the network.
