Tether has introduced a new mining software to increase mining efficiency and capacity.
Created to facilitate the transmission of commands and signals to Bitcoin using innovative JavaScript libraries, this software allows more efficient management of mining capacity.
Tether aims to increase productivity with mining software
Paolo Ardoino, chief technology officer of Bitfinex and Tether, shared on Twitter that there are plans to make certain parts of this mining software available on open source platforms in the future. Tether BTC mining software, which aims to lead to more effective operations thanks to the efficient management of mining capacity, is seen as an important step in the industry.
Ardoino also stated that he is a key contributor to Moria, an orchestration tool for mining farms, and that this new software is built using Holepunch technology. Moria enables communication between components in the BTC mining ecosystem, enabling interaction with modern, secure, hack-resistant and cost-effective tools.
Despite facing legal challenges and regulatory actions, Tether continues to operate in the cryptocurrency mining industry. The company plans to devote a certain portion of its monthly profits to the purchase of BTC and has announced that it will invest in power generation and sustainable BTC mining in Uruguay by collaborating with a local firm. Uruguay is known for its solid infrastructure in the renewable energy sector and derives nearly 100% of its natural resources from renewable sources.
