The number of employees in the blockchain field has increased by approximately 80% compared to last year.

According to the report of LinkedIn and cryptocurrency exchange OKX, the number of people working in the blockchain space has increased by 76% as of June 2022.

The United States, India and China lead the way in terms of the number of people working in the blockchain industry. The number of people working in this field in India has increased by 122% and is ranked first in the world in this field. India is followed by Canada with 106% and Singapore with 92%.

Massive Increase in Job Postings

There was also a significant increase in job postings related to blockchain technology. Ads increased by 609% in Spain, followed by Canada with 560% and India with 145%.

While 19% of those working in the blockchain field are in the finance sector, 16% are in the engineering sector. Business development, information technology and sales areas also make up the top five with 6%, respectively.

According to the research, there is a huge increase in the need for technical skills, and it is in this field that the most gaps are seen.
