Huge altcoin whale buys million-dollar SHIB, price rises 9%

The WhaleStats crypto wallet tracker, which focuses on the addresses of whales, reported that over the past 24 hours, major investors’ interest in the Shiba Inu has resumed, making it one of the most purchased tokens on the Ethereum network. According to data published by WhaleStats, the Shiba Inu has returned to the list of the 10 most purchased tokens by the 100 largest Ethereum whales.

Whales grab $37.6M at SHIB
In the last 24 hours, the top 100 Ethereum token holders have purchased over $37.6 million Shiba Inu, according to figures recently shared on the WhaleStats website. This amount equals to 2,827,067,669,172 SHIB in dollars. The second most popular meme token after Dogecoin, it ranks fourth among whales’ assets. However, it accounts for 5.26% of their massive portfolio. The first two rows continue to belong to the USD-based stablecoins USDT and USDC. The general view is as follows.
Altcoin whales also show interest in a fan token
Analytics platform Santiment is bullish on an Ethereum-based token, which is already rising by three digits. Santiment says Chiliz (CHZ), the fan token of sports fan engagement platform Socios.com, will continue to recover as whale activity surrounding it hits a five-month high.
Chiliz has managed to break into the top 40 crypto assets with market cap and +150% price increase over the past four weeks. Whale transactions hit the highest net amount since March 29. Even if the whales profit, the CHZ rally can continue.
At the time of writing, Chiliz is trading at $0.245, up 12% in the last 24 hours. Today, SHIB and CHZ were the prominent altcoins in the last 24-hour performance.
