These 3 Altcoins Announced Partnerships with World Giants!

In a significant development, oracle platform Chainlink (LINK) announced its collaboration with interbank messaging system Swift. Other news from the altcoin market focuses on Web3, NFT and DeFi.

Swift and Chainlink will test connecting world giants to Blockchain networks

Interbank messaging system Swift and oracle platform Chainlink (LINK) will collaborate with dozens of financial institutions to test how they can connect to multiple Blockchain networks, according to a press release on Tuesday.

In a new series of experiments, Swift prepares to partner with major TradFi institutions. These institutions include world giants such as Depository Trust and Clearing Operation (DTCC) and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). Other prominent TradFi institutions are as follows:

  • BNP Paribas
  • BNY Mellon
  • citi
  • clearstream
  • Euroclear
  • Lloyds

The press release stated that the goal of the collaboration is to test how these institutions can use Swift’s infrastructure to manage the transfer of tokenized assets between their blockchains.

Chainlink will provide connectivity on both public and private Blockchains for these experiments. The Swift and Chainlink partnership first appeared at Chainlinks’ annual SmartCon conference last year.

Horizen chose this altcoin network to power the EON smart contract platform

Horizen, the leading public blockchain, has announced its strategic partnership with Web3 infrastructure provider Ankr. As a result of this partnership, Ankr will become one of the first Remote Procedure Call (RPC) providers for Horizen’s newly developed Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) compatible smart contract platform, EON.

The collaboration will enable a wide variety of use cases such as DeFi, gaming and NFTs, which will bring greater accessibility, scalability and reliability to the expanding EON ecosystem.

Horizen ecosystem

EON, Horizen’s smart contract platform, is the first step in the ecosystem’s multiple smart contracts. It is also fully compatible with EVM. State-of-the-art Web3 infrastructure and services provided by Ankr will significantly improve EON’s performance. It will also make it possible to significantly improve the ecosystem for developers and users. Horizon Co-Founder Rob Viglione has this to say about the collaboration:

The collaboration between Horizen and Ankr will significantly enhance the capabilities of the EON ecosystem and deliver unmatched value to developers and users alike. Ankr’s cutting-edge suite of technology and developer tools will not only support the scalability and accessibility of EON, but also empower our developers to create innovative, secure and efficient dApps for a variety of use cases.

As part of the partnership, Ankr will simplify the process of building and deploying smart contract applications on EON. Web3 platform will offer series developer tool for these. Among them;

  • Liquid Staking Software Development Kit (SDK)
  • Web3 Gaming SDK
  • and it gets AppChains as a Service.

What’s next for altcoin projects?

As a result, with the partnership, the EON ecosystem will soon be able to host a large number of decentralized applications. Ankr’s Web3 infrastructure, EON’s EVM compatibility and Horizen’s zero-knowledge side-chain protocol will combine to create a permissionless and private Blockchain environment especially for Blockchain developers and new users.
