This altcoin is expanding to the BNB chain. Its founder said that the move to the BNB chain could attract more users to their platform.
Altcoin moves to BNB chain
Communications network Push Protocol will expand to BNB Chain, the world’s largest smart contract blockchain in terms of daily active users, as part of a broader plan to gain more users. According to DeFiLlama, BNB Chain is the third largest blockchain network with more than $5 billion in total locked value and an estimated 230 million unique wallet addresses.
“Until now, Push Protocol’s web3 notification services were limited to Ethereum and Polygon,” said Harsh Rajat, project leader and founder of Push Protocol. Then, ‘We know that BNB Chain is very popular with retail investors and we are excited to expand our offering into this entirely new segment.’ he added.
The Push Protocol provides cross-chain notifications, transaction data, or software-based messaging in on-chain wallets and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications to a user’s wallet address. Any smart contract, dApp or backend service can integrate Push to provide a layer of communication via notifications or chats linked to users’ wallet addresses.
This is similar to notifications made by websites or apps on smartphones where relevant or important information is shown to users. cryptocoin.comAccording to data, Push Protocol’s native PUSH token is trading at 38 cents at the time of writing.
Web3 Push Chat
Since Push Protocol starts with decentralized notifications, every chat message sent in the protocol has a built-in notification. When a message is sent to an address, the receiving address receives a notification with the message if they accept it.
Unlike traditional messaging programs that require users to provide their information such as email, phone number or other personal data about the user to sign up, Push Chat requires no personal information in the protocol to start messaging.
All the user needs is a wallet address. All messages are stored in IPFS and encrypted as well as being signed. It is important to note that only addresses involved in the conversation can decrypt messages and anyone can verify that the message was indeed sent by the sender’s address and that the messages are encrypted.
When sending a message to an address, it is sent via Push Nodes. Push Nodes are a network of nodes where each node can have a different role in the network responsible for verifying every notification and chat message between addresses.
