Binance whales have been chasing DOGE, CAKE and ADA in a final push towards the new year. Whales are also busy collecting an altcoin from outside the top 100.

Biggest Binance whales collect DOGE and these altcoins

In a recent tweet, whale watching bot WhaleStats revealed the top cryptocurrencies whales buy on Binance. According to the data, the top 500 whales in the BSC network are accumulating Dogecoin (DOGE) fast towards the new year. Dogecoin is followed by Cardano (ADA), which is ranked ninth by market cap. Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that the meme coin has outpaced Cardano in terms of market cap. After the rally that started with Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, Dogecoin remained stable in the 10 range.

Current on-chain data shows that whales’ interest has increased in the wake of Dogecoin’s recent price movements. Currently, 500 large BSC whales hold DOGE worth $9.8 million. That’s roughly 1.25% of the $97 million whale portfolio.

Meanwhile, among the coins that whales bought is ThunderCore (TT) outside the top 100. According to data provided by WhaleStats, the coins purchased by the top 500 whales in the BSC network are as follows:

Dogecoin was the greenest coin of the week

The leading meme coin has recorded the highest performance, gaining over 10% since last week. It still holds over 20% of its earnings since December 1st. It has since returned some of its profits, with ups and downs. Dogecoin’s upward momentum to December is based on Twitter news at the end of October. The possibility of Dogecoin’s integration on the platform after the acquisition of Elon Musk was effective in finding new buyers. DOGE also continues to stay on the stage with the news that Musk will produce a smartphone, which has emerged recently.
