At the “TRT International Metaverse and Broadcasting Forum” held in the past days, the good news of metaverse came. TRT General Manager Mehmet Zahid Sobacı stated that work is being done for TRT Metaverse.
Sobacı used the following expressions:
“I can express with peace of mind that we will be witnessing a very important turning point both for TRT and broadcasting history, namely TRT Metaverse. to the birth of. It seems that the ‘metaverse’ built on web 3.0 and blockchain will take the leading role in this series of changes and transformations that swept individuals, societies, states, politics and the whole world. The ‘metaverse’, which will be the successor of the internet with its three-dimensional and end-to-end design-experimental structure, is defined as the place where people, objects and dreams will live through digital representatives. It is predicted that ‘Metaverse’ will reach a market of 13 trillion dollars by 2030, become the largest technology market in the world by 2080, and radically transform the world’s broadcasting, production, education and working models. We started design and technological infrastructure works by collaborating with the leading ‘metaverse’ design and technology companies of Turkey and the world in order for TRT to take its place at the forefront of the ‘metaverse’ and become one of the strongest broadcasting companies in this medium.”
Sobacı said that changing the channel will be replaced by changing the venue on TRT Metavers, while also expressing that the fans can be side by side with their favorite artists.
