Web3 lifestyle app Stepn and Spanish football team Atletico Madrid have announced the great partnership. The new NFT collection will be available to users via the STEPN mobile application. GMT, one of the Turks’ favorite altcoin projects, has completed a series of collaborations since last month.
Turks’ favorite altcoin project announces new NFT collection
Web3 lifestyle app Stepn is launching an NFT sneaker collection in collaboration with Spanish football team Atletico de Madrid and cryptocurrency exchange WhaleFin. Both Stepn users and football fans will be able to purchase the new digital football boots. The property will also provide unique access to real Atlético de Madrid merchandise, live matches and WhaleFin airdrops. The sneakers will be compatible with the play-to-win game of the app.
According to the official announcement, STEPN and Atletico Madrid have partnered with cryptocurrency exchange WhaleFin for the new NFT collection. Stepn reported last year that his Solana-based fitness app earned $122.5 million in the second quarter. Essential for gaming, the NFT sneakers are priced at 1.58 SOL. This amount is equivalent to $65 in fiat terms. Shiti Ragosti, STEPN’s Chief Marketing Officer, said in a statement about the partnership:
Through such elite alliances, we create play-to-win partnerships with co-brands as well as real-world benefits and benefits for users.
Details from the new NFT collection
The NFT collection, a product of the partnership of Stepn and Atletico Madrid, will consist of 1,001 pieces in total. The parts consist of 850 Common NFTs, 140 Uncommon and 11 Rare NFTs. Meanwhile, those who buy Rare NFT sneakers will participate in the raffle for signed Atletico Madrid jersey gifts.
What is Step (GMT)? How does it differ from other altcoin projects?
Stepn is seen as the evolution of two concepts that have been of interest for several years. These are grouped under two titles as AR and play-win games. AR games typically have a virtual world superimposed on the real world. The concept came true in 2015 with Pokemon Go, which spawned virtual Pokemon on a real-life map of the world.
Meanwhile, Stepn was founded by Ethereum rival Solana-based developer FindSatoshi Lab. It is a smartphone application that allows users to earn money by walking, running or jogging. Stepn is working with Alchemy Pay, a crypto-fiat payments developer adding functionality for GMT. Another partner, ASICS, has recently added its own NFT sneaker collection to Stepn’s catalog. cryptocoin.comAs you follow, GMT is currently trading at $0.9775.
