Uniswap v3 is integrated into Coinbase’s Base

The third version of Uniswap is integrated into Coinbase’s Layer-2 network Base. Immediately after this integration, Uniswap processed more than 11,700 transactions on the Base network, recording a transaction volume of approximately $3.65 million. This has made Uniswap the fourth largest decentralized exchange in terms of trading volume on the Base network.

The Base network is a network that operates as a Layer-2 Blockchain and operates on the OP software stack. Initially launched for developers on July 13, the Base network will go public this Thursday during an event called “Onchain Summer.” Previously, users and developers moved over $100 million in assets to the network.

With this integration, Uniswap and other decentralized exchanges will enable more token swaps and trades on the Base network. Coinbase’s Base network stands out as a solution that offers the opportunity to make fast transactions with low fees as an alternative to the high transaction fees in Ethereum.
