The University of São Paulo has partnered with Radio Caca (RACA) to have virtual lands on the metaverse.
According to the official announcement shared by the university, the technical, economic and legal aspects of the metaverse will be evaluated while creating research programs.
The University of São Paulo plans to open offices in partnership by building various educational institutions in the metaverse.
The university plans to establish headquarters on the metaverse and have its own virtual lands. Thus, the employees and students of the University will be able to come together in this center.
Radio Caca wants to build an open metaverse for universities. Radio Caca CEO Jeff Watney stated that the aim of the platform is for universities and content creators to “create an open metaverse focused on user freedom”.
