US Internal Revenue Service Grabs FTX
US Internal Revenue Service ( IRS ), filed a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against bankrupt crypto exchange FTX and its affiliates. Also, the IRS filed a $20.4 billion claim from Alameda. This demand equates to $20 billion in taxes that FTX’s sister company did not pay.
According to the bankruptcy filings dated April 27 and 28, the IRS, FTX and its companies in a total of 45 requests found. These requests of the IRS will be evaluated in the first place by taking executive priority in the creditor case.
Recently, FTX has been putting a lot of effort into repaying its customers and restructuring the platform.
