US Senator Ted Cruz wants Texas to be at the center of crypto development.
Cruz spoke at the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation at an event called “Bitcoin and the American Experiment” on May 23. In the keynote speech of the event, Cruz said that he wants Texas to be at the center of the development of crypto, adding:
“I believe in Bitcoin. I want Texas to be the world’s oasis for Bitcoin and crypto.”
Cruz has also recently addressed the expansion of crypto mining in Texas and criticized Senator Warren. Cruz used the following statements on the subject:
“They don’t like something they can’t control. This is exactly why most democrats dislike Bitcoin. Why is Bitcoin something Elizabeth Warren has been hitting right and left? Because they want to control every penny of our bank accounts with their sticky little socialist fingers.”
