USA Continues To Be At The Top In Bitcoin (BTC) Mining

The USA continues to be at the top of Bitcoin (BTC) mining with a hash rate of 37.84%.

According to data from the Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance (CCAF), the US is at the top of this understanding, accounting for 37.84% of the global Bitcoin mining hashrate.

In October, due to the pressure of the Chinese Communist Party on the energy sector, the hash rate in the country decreased to almost zero, and the USA rose to the first place for the first time in this period.

The state of Georgia accounts for more than 30% of the country’s hash rate. It is followed by Texas with 11.22% hash rate and Kentucky with 10.93% hash rate. Although the states of New York and California are the regions where the anti-Bitcoin Democrats are heavily supported, mining activities are also carried out intensively in these regions.

Interestingly, the new report published by CCAF reveals that China’s global hashrate is 22.29% and is starting to peak again. The data reveal that mining activities in China are carried out in a confidential and unauthorized manner. According to CCAF, Chinese miners rely on various proxy services for privacy.

However, Kazakhstan, one of the top Bitcoin mining destinations, saw a huge drop with a hash rate of 13.22%.

Canada ranked fourth in the list with a hash rate of 6.48%.
