US Department of Defenseis collaborating with the crypto intelligence firm to examine the potential security threat of cryptocurrencies.
Security is one of the most important issues for countries and crypto companies. So much so that while countries have to increase their sanctions due to security problems, companies also face attacks. The USA has started a new study on this subject, which can touch all sides.
USA Sifts Cryptocurrencies
US to assess the threat posed by cryptocurrencies Inca Digitalsigned a one-year deal with
an independent agency of the US Department of Defense Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency(DARPA) has commissioned Inca Digital to develop tools to understand how crypto markets work and help prevent illegal uses of digital assets that could pose a risk to national security.
DARPA’s program manager Mark FloodHe told The Washington Post:
“The program being run here involves mapping the cryptocurrency universe in some detail”
Inca Digital’s clients include a wide variety of government and private sector companies, including the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, crypto exchange FTX and brokerage firm Fidelity.
