Vodafone Announces: It Works With Metaverse Coin!

Vodafone is preparing to host its customers at Vodafone Metaverse Store, one of Turkey’s first metaverse stores, which it announced about a month ago. In partnership with one of the biggest projects in the Metaverse coin market, customers will be accompanied by a digital assistant.

Vodafone begins to serve its customers on the metaverse

Vodafone, one of Turkey’s largest telecommunication distributors, has announced that it has opened its first store in the metaverse. Backed by MANA, the 34th largest cryptocurrency by market value, Decentraland will host Vodafone Metaverse Store.

Vodafone Turkey Executive Vice President Meltem Bakiler Şahin, in his statements on the subject, said:

Metaverse and the technology it hosts are on the way to become a big virtual universe with 8 trillion dollars of opportunity for companies. At Vodafone Metaverse Store, we offer our customers the opportunity to access our products and services in the virtual universe by providing a new generation digital experience.

Multiple news for the metaverse coin market today

In addition to Vodafone and Decentraland partnership, Coinbase, one of the world’s largest crypto money exchanges, Sandbox announced that it will list (SAND). After this news, the price of SAND gained more than 15% in a short time. We have covered the details as Kriptokoin.com in this article.

Decentraland MANA price also increased by more than 5% with Vodafone news. However, it is still trading 80% below the $5.90 ATH price.

What is Decentraland and why is it important for the metaverse coin market?

Decentraland (MANA) itself; It defines it as a virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to create, experience and monetize content and applications. In the Decentraland metaverse, users can purchase plots that they can then explore, build on, and earn money on.

Two cryptocurrencies are used in the Decentraland metaverse. These are: MANA and LAND. MANA can be used to pay users for avatars, wearables, names and similar cosmetic virtual assets. Also, some MANA is burned to buy LAND. So far, we’ve seen brands like Estée Lauder, Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana, and Forever 21 throw metaverse stores into Decentraland.
