Earlier this week, the owners of these wallets sold about $33 million in Shiba Inu. It reduced the SHIB value in its portfolios from $191.2 million to $158.5 million.
SHIB’s burn rate has increased significantly in the past days, and this has caught the attention of the crypto community. The Shiba Inu, which has remained popular since its launch and has been compared to another meme token, DOGE. After a short-lived rally, where it rose 38.5 percent since August 15, it lost almost all of its gains by falling 26.49 percent. As of writing, the meme token is Shiba Inu.
