What is Decentralization?

Decentralization is the name given to the process of transforming the power of a central authority into a decentralized one.

The formation with the potential to create new financial markets, services and products is called Decentralization Finance, or DeFi for short. Most financial and government systems currently in existence are centralized.

Decentralization is one of the most important benefits of using the blockchain protocol. First of all, decentralization first appeared with blockchain technology. The blockchain technology that created Bitcoin is what enables the decentralization of these cryptocurrencies. It offers every user the opportunity to become one of the network’s many payment processors.

Anyone who connects their computer to the Bitcoin system can help confirm money transfers. Every device connected to the system is called a “node”. There are thousands of nodes that help the network run. For the network to be hacked, hackers must take control of each node. This is nearly impossible. That’s why blockchain is the safest way to send and receive money.

Decentralized systems can be used in almost every sector. No credentials are provided to interact with a decentralized system. Transactions can be performed anonymously using private and public keys.

The “decentralization” system used in Blockchain is not controlled by any authority. Instead it is distributed among people using the control system. This makes society fairer as it takes control away from powerful companies.

Decentralized systems have no limits, so it doesn’t matter if the person you’re sending money to is in the same country as you or on the other side of the world. You send it in the same time for the same fees.

In a decentralized system, your money is in a much safer position. You are the only person with access to your money because only you have access to your private key. If you take the right security measures, no one can access your private keys.
