According to recently shared data, close to three hundred million XRP was tied earlier today and SHIB whales did not remain silent.
Millions of XRP transferred
According to data provided by Whale Alert, in the past 10 hours, major crypto holders, commonly known as whales in the crypto space, have transferred over 260 million XRP in just a few transactions. The biggest part was slid by the Bithumb exchange, whose owner is again in trouble with the authorities.
But he later provided some details showing that the largest transfer here, with 160,000,000 XRP, was made internally between their respective wallets by major South Korean crypto exchange Bithumb.

Another internal transfer here was made by Bitso exchange, a major Ripple partner in the Latin America region, where Ripple is doing its best to roll out ODL technology (On-Demand liquidity) that enables fast and cheap cross-border payments. Bitso transferred 39,500,000 XRP from one address to another.
Two more transfers were made by whales from the US-based Bittrex exchange, carrying 30,000,000 and 33,000,000 XRP. These two pieces of XRP have been sent (again) to Bitstamp and Bitso. In total, 262.5 million XRP was traded. This amount is equivalent to 107.7 million dollars in fiat.
Mysterious whale makes hugely charged SHIB transfer
A crypto trader is suddenly moving more than 3 trillion Shiba Inu (SHIB) ahead of the planned major upgrade of his blockchain project. A crypto whale unexpectedly shifted 3,312,307,240,798 SHIB worth $38,257,148 from one unknown wallet to another, according to new data from WhaleAlert.
According to Etherscan data, the sending wallet received approximately the same amount of SHIB from another unknown wallet 14 days ago and currently appears to have zero SHIB balance. The unknown recipient wallet continues to hold 3.3 trillion SHIB at the time of writing. SHIB is expected to undergo a major upgrade sometime this year with the release of the Layer-2 blockchain Shibarium. Ledger, a leading cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider, recently announced plans to support Shibarium, as did another hardware wallet company, Trezor.
Shibarium, which will run on top of the Ethereum blockchain, is designed to provide scalability, faster transaction times and lower gas fees. It is also designed to make it easier for developers to build decentralized applications on the Shiba Inu blockchain.
