Crypto detective ZachXBT claims that a Canadian scammer is collaborating with others to steal NFTs using fake Discord servers. ZachXBT also states that the chief culprit bought expensive Roblox items.

ZachXBT claims that a scammer named “Soup” has “helped steal millions of assets” using fake Discord servers. In a series of posts he shared on Twitter, the online detective stated that he lured people to a fake Discord server by pretending to be an engineer working for Decrypt and collaborating with other scammers. ZachXBT claims that Soup uses phishing tactics to target individuals associated with crypto projects such as Orbiter Finance and Pika Protocol.

According to ZachXBT, Pika Protocol’s Discord server was compromised in May in an attempt to steal digital assets. “Scammers posted a malicious link on the announcement channel that helped steal more than $220,000 worth of assets,” ZachXBT says.

On Orbiter Finance, ZachXBT states that Soup and other criminals used a “malicious link” to wipe out $760,000 worth of assets.

These claims have not yet been confirmed and no official statement has been made on the subject. However, given ZachXBT’s previous achievements and experience in the crypto space, it can be said that these allegations are a serious case to be addressed.
